Who we are

RetireReady (“we”, “us”) operates retirereadyuk.co.uk — a service that helps UK savers understand where they stand against national retirement benchmarks and, where they choose, connects them with FCA-regulated financial advisers. RetireReady is not a financial adviser and does not give financial advice. Contact: hello@retirereadyuk.co.uk.

What we collect

When you request your free retirement check — on this site or via a form on social media — we collect: your name, email address and phone number; and the answers you give in the check (your age, target retirement age, approximate pension and savings bracket, approximate income, what retirement looks like for you and, if you answer them, the follow-up questions about your pensions, savings, property, debts, family and plans). We may ask for the first part of your postcode so an adviser near you can help. If you arrive from an advert we also record which advert brought you here.

How we use it

• To produce your personalised “Where You Stand” report.
• To email or text you your report link and reminders to finish your check.
• To introduce you to one FCA-regulated adviser firm, which receives your details and report so it can contact you and the first conversation is useful.
• To improve the service (aggregated, non-identifying analysis).

Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by emailing us. We send electronic marketing only in line with the consent you give (PECR).

Who we share it with

When you finish the check we introduce you to one FCA-regulated adviser firm. That firm pays RetireReady a fee for the introduction, and it is the only firm that receives your name, contact details, answers and report — we never pass them to a second firm, and never to anyone for their own marketing. Before a firm can see any introduction we check it on the FCA Register. Once it has your details the firm is responsible for how it uses them under its own privacy notice, and it will tell you who it is when it contacts you. Adviser firms browsing introductions see only non-identifying information (your age, figures in ranges, your answers) until one firm takes the introduction.

We also use trusted processors to run the service (hosting, database, email delivery, AI-assisted chat processing); they process data on our instructions only. We do not sell your data to list brokers, data resellers or marketers.

Retention & your rights

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymise it. Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your data, and to withdraw consent — email hello@retirereadyuk.co.uk and we will act promptly. You can also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

We use only the cookies and local storage needed to run the service (for example, remembering your check so it resumes where you left off) and measurement pixels for our own advertising. We do not use third-party advertising cookies on this site.
